Contact Us

Our secretariat, Action for M.E., manages all enquiries on our behalf, and will pass along messages to the APPG.

Sometimes there is a better organisation or person to contact, which we explain below.

I have a personal issue relating to ME

Unfortunately the APPG on ME cannot respond to individual issues around ME. Parliamentary rules are very clear that MPs can can only do work on personal issues for their own constituents. Our All-Party Parliamentary Group works on the broader issues around ME that effect many people.

We recommend you contact your own MP with any personal issues. They can advise you on whether your issue is something they can help with.

I need personal support

Action for M.E. and The ME Association are national charities that share secretariat duties to the APPG on ME. Each charity offers professional support and information services for people living with – or caring for someone – with ME.

They can support you by phone, email, and social media message. Speaking with them can help you:

  • feel heard and understood.
  • access expert resources and peer-support.
  • break issues down, so they feel less overwhelming.
  • explore priorities and possible next steps.
  • frame questions you want to ask healthcare professionals.

If you would like to see what each charity can offer, please review their websites and get in touch:

I want to raise a concern with the APPG on ME
