The All-Party Parliamentary Group for ME met at 2pm to discuss ME research and the DHSC Delivery Plan.
Sonya Chowdhury updated the Group on the progress of the DHSC’s consultation, before discussing plans to launch a ‘Parliamentary Champions’ programme to raise the profile of ME in Parliament.
The Group also agreed to write to Victoria Atkins, as Secretary of State, to meet with the APPG.
Professor Chris Pointing then provided an update on the Decode ME study, taking place at the University of Edinburgh.
